Having created a photo-curriculum of self-portrait work for five traditional members of the West Oakland community, we began to explore and learn about the experience of gentrification. On October 26, 2013 traditonal residents of West Oakland and gentrifiers were invited to show of this photographic work and a panel discussion with each of the participants of the project.
